Dunlap Codding Adds Intellectual Property Litigator Julie L. Langdon in Chicago
January 28, 2015 (Oklahoma City, OK) – Dunlap Codding, a law firm concentrated on intellectual property law and ensconced in Midwestern values, has added IP litigation attorney Julie L. Langdon, formerly with Loeb & Loeb in Chicago.
The addition of Langdon continues the strategic growth of the firm, deepening its focus on IP litigation, and growing its Chicago office. Langdon’s practice encompasses a number of areas of intellectual property law, including litigation, licensing and counseling. Her primary practice is patent litigation with a concentration in the areas of biotechnology and life sciences, chemical, and pharmaceutical arts, including Hatch-Waxman issues. She represents plaintiffs and defendants in patent-related litigations involving infringement and other disputes arising over patent rights. She also has experience with asset prosecution, specifically, patent and trademark portfolio protection and maintenance before the USPTO and international bodies. Prior to joining Dunlap Codding in 2015, Langdon was an associate attorney at Loeb & Loeb LLP and at Ladas & Parry LLP.
Langdon received her J.D. for DePaul University College of Law and her M.S. in Forensic Science with a focus on biotechnology from Florida International University. She received her B.S. in Cellular Biology and Biotechnology from the State University of New York.
She has been selected by attorney peers for inclusion in Illinois Rising Stars 2015 for Intellectual Property Litigation, and has been listed since 2012. In 2013, she was named to the Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive & Emerging Leaders by Diversity MBA Magazine.
