ECOMMERCE: Make A Buck Or Twenty With Google.

https://www.google.com/adsense/

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have seen the slew of new text-based ad banners that have been proliferating around the Internet with the little credit that reads “Ads by Google.” These are served from the Google AdSense network and basically anyone with a Web site (that meets their criteria) can join. They don’t accept personal Web sites or blogs, so you can save your time there. But if you run a fansite or virtually any other type of legitimate (ie: not porn, warez, etc.) site that’s got space for banners, you can start cashing in your checks in no time flat. It’s an amazingly simple program to join and implement. The real power of the Google system over traditional text-based ad programs is that the ads are specifically suited to the content of your pages. Google uses their search technology to automatically find the best advertisers from their AdWords program. The AdWords program is for people who want to pay for advertising and pay on a per click basis. It’s a match made in heaven and I can tell you from experience. I bought a generic wallpaper site a few years ago called YourWallPaper.com and it basically sat stagnant for years and brought in a few bucks a month here and there. Then came Google! I can’t disclose how much I’m making from the program, but let’s just say the site pays for itself and then some, now. There are people building businesses around this program and all it takes is a Web site and some traffic. [Jason]
