PR NIGHTMARE: MIKE-ROWE-SOFT, UPDATE

Microsoft appears to have backed down on its PR nightmare copyright infringement charges it was threatening against Mike Rowe (additional links below), a 17 year old Canadian website developer

The unfortunate side effect: Mike Rowe was more than likely infringing upon Microsoft’s intellectual property rights and Microsoft’s heavy-handed approach has landed them in a PR nightmare.  Enforcing your intellectual property rights is mandatory: how you go about it, however, makes all the difference.
